It also performed well in our cooling tests, although we're not fans of its polygon handles that are gimmicky and the bins with a crisper design feel a little flimsy.
One thing that makes the RF23M8090SG apart is the Bespoke line that lets you personalize your fridge by removing colored panels which can be swapped whenever you get tired of the ones you have currently. There are 11 different color options, ranging from pastels to more vibrant hues. There are four metallic finishes. These panels can be personalized to include photos or text. This makes the fridge more personal and can be matched to your Rick Owens dress, Andy Warhol banana neon or tie-dye Crocs.
The LED lighting can be altered to a different hue, which is a nice feature. The interior of the refrigerator features a sleek finish that minimizes smudges, and makes cleaning easier. The only negatives to the RF23M8090SG are its somewhat cramped beverage center as well as an incline to learn curve in opening the door-indoor feature that houses a water pitcher and dispenser. You must feel for an opening on the side of the door that is halfway across, and when you do the lever, it opens another door inside the fridge that contains the docking station for pitchers, the water dispenser and two shelves for drinks.

However, it has a couple of nagging issues. Our test data shows the FGHB2866PF can get very hot often in the freezer and become uncomfortable hot in the hottest shelves of the refrigerator. This is evident in our heat maps, which show how the interior temperatures fluctuate minute by minute. The orange area on the top right, representing the butter bin, is especially warm throughout the time we tested. It might not appear too awful at first glance however, it means that the fridge is spending a large portion of its time above 33 degrees.
It's worth noting that this model isn't Energy Star certified, which could be a major consideration for certain buyers. The real problem is that this fridge isn't a great choice. It's not equipped with the latest features and is made of a slender, flimsy material which makes it difficult to recommend it over more expensive options at this price point.

It's a safe choice with a brushed finish that looks good and is resistant to smudges, but it doesn't make a lot of an effort to differentiate itself from other brands that have more features and less expensive.
